Guest guest
This is a great idea. I need some Thanksgiving recipe ideas. Looking for at least one new type of recipe to experiment with. Guest guest
This is the one I use every Thanksgiving....they have meatless turkeys in your healthfood stores, but I am of the old school. It is rather complicated so I don't use it often, in Christmas again. I am making pizza today and it is just as involved. Will post later other recipes. Thanks Giving Dinner November 2005 1 cup cooked garbanzos smashed fairly well ¾ cup of cooked brown rice ½ a cup of favorite flour 5 Tsps. soy sauce, or vegetarian soy type bouillon, I use Bragg or any soy sauce, garlic I think is very important in seasoning so ad it to your onions.. 1 tsp. of each fresh thyme, rosemary, sage but you can use dry if not available, more to taste, mix together. ¼ cup of cut walnuts 1 slice of toastedwheat bread cut small pieces(optional) 1 large sweet onion, four garlic diced and sauted then added to the above. Made into burger type patties, sprinkled with paprika and baked in the oven for 40 minutes in a greased pan. The Gavy: You can use your favorite gravy or try this: Boil a cup of water and ad flour slowly stirring to make a thick gravy with 2 Tsps soy sauce or soy bouillon. Then add a little, onion, garlic and the above spices above, ad dry mustard optional. When the patties come out can be place in side dish or poured over them. Add lots more ingredients of larger dish, but we are only two fools here. Beets, greenbeans, sweet potatoes or other favorite veggies can be added to it as a side dish.. , subprong <subprong@g...> wrote: > > This is a great idea. I need some Thanksgiving recipe ideas.
