My kids request it often, and it is a dish you can serve with confidence to meat-eaters and know they will feel full, satisfied and ask for the recipe. i can re-post it for any of the newbies here, but it is also in our recipe files already. > Do you have a " signature dish " that friends and family > request you absolutely MUST make for potlucks? People often request i make spinach dip in a bread bowl, or fresh hummus with sun-dried tomatoes. For the Thanksgiving gathering i am always asked to bring my Sweet Onion Corn Bake casserole. [also in files, but i will re-post if requested] ~ pt ~ Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned. ~ Buddha (c. 566-480 BCE)
Guest guest
Going right now to get both of those recipes! We have an Annual After Thanksgiving Family Potluck with my dad's side and this years' theme is Mexican. I need to take pretty much a whole meal to ensure that my part of the family (all 7 of us) has plenty to eat. Yay! Thanks PT! I'm also talkative today. My kids know public school is out for Veteran's Day, so I have a friendly protest going on here. I compromised with them and we're starting late today.
