Guest guest
Since I've been off sick with some unspecified " viral illness " for the last couple of months, I decided that eating my food as fresh as possible would help to build up my immune system so I've been sprouting a lot of seeds. So far I've tried alfalfa, lentils, radish, broccoli, fenugreek, sunflower seeds. Mostly I eat them in salads or on wholewheat bread with marmite and/or cheese. I've just had spicy soya and black bean burger on seeded wholewheat roll with hot salsa, guacamole, sliced avocado, little gem lettuce and cucumber with alfalfa, broccoli and sunflower seed sprouts which was really yummy. What are your favourite sprouts and how do you use them?
Guest guest
I love sprouts. I like to put sprouted lentils, adzuki (sp??) beans, peas and garbonzos on my salads. Sunflower sprouts on wraps with sunflower seeds. Quinoa sprouts make a good salad (think subing it in your favorite pasta salad recipe) Broccoli and alfalfa sprouts are salad and sandwich and wraps. Not really original. I am actually headed to the health food store to get some seeds... ~Mel --- Christie <christie0131 wrote: > Since I've been off sick with some unspecified > " viral illness " for the > last couple of months, I decided that eating my food > as fresh as > possible would help to build up my immune system so > I've been > sprouting a lot of seeds.
