Guest guest
Weekly question (For Thanksgiving):Ê > How do you spend your thanksgiving? We always attend a gathering of friends, and many people we don't know well. The gal that hosts the bash each year is a good friend of mine and she counts on us being in the mix. i am always the sole vegetarian. There are usually 25 to 30 people at these Thanksgiving dinner parties. > What will your feast consist of?Ê My feast consists of veg stuffing [which i bring for myself and to share with others even though there is a meaty stuff also], mashed potatoes, salad, sweet onion corn bake [which i bring], peas & carrots, bread rolls, veg gravy [which i bring], and assorted desserts and pies. This year i may slice and bring along a Quorn brand roast since my daughter prefers it to eating a dead turkey. She is pesca-pollo, but doesn't like turkey much. > What dish do you look forward to? Pretty much i only look forward to my own that i take with me, especially the stuffing and corn casserole. i can't really count on much else being vegetarian, but i am always thankful i don't have to be the host and that i can leave the turkey stench at her house. ~ pt ~ The falling leaves drift by the window The autumn leaves of red and gold.... I see your lips, the summer kisses The sunburned hands, I used to hold Since you went away, the days grow long And soon I'll hear ol' winter's song. But I miss you most of all my darling, When autumn leaves start to fall. ~ Johnny Mercer, lyrics, Autumn Leaves ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , " ~ PT ~ " < patchouli_troll> wrote: > Weekly question (For Thanksgiving):Ê > How do you spend your thanksgiving?Ê > What will your feast consist of?Ê > What dish do you look forward to?
