Guest guest
i only have a regular hand-held mixer. i have been noticing it is not that tough, too. Gets slow sounding when i am mixing thick cookie doughs; which is pretty much all i use it for other than making whipped mashed potatoes. i'd love to get one of those Kitchenaide stand mixers like Martha Stewart uses. i bet that would work well for mixing up seitan. ~ pt ~ When a thing is funny, search it carefully for a hidden truth. ~ George Bernard Shaw, writer, Nobel laureate (1856-1950) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , " Amy " <sandpiperhiker> wrote: > PT - you could probably do it in a stand mixer if you wanted (I will > be trying that soon), or knead it by hand (would take a long time though). Kitchenaid mixers kick ass! I love mine. I broke so many hand mixers and food processors before I got it. Veronica
Guest guest
Sorry I have been MIA for a few weeks, been sick! But, feeling better now. I have a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Use it more often then I ever would have thought. Also, I just recently re-discovered my bread machine and am goo-goo in love over it! Can put in the ingredients, set a timer and have fresh warm bread READY for you when you wake up or get home from work....love that.
