i only have a regular hand-held mixer. i have

been noticing it is not that tough, too. Gets slow

sounding when i am mixing thick cookie doughs;

which is pretty much all i use it for other than

making whipped mashed potatoes.

i'd love to get one of those Kitchenaide stand mixers

like Martha Stewart uses. i bet that would work

well for mixing up seitan.

Kitchenaid mixers kick ass! I love mine. I broke so many hand mixers and

food processors before I got it. :)

Sorry I have been MIA for a few weeks, been sick! But, feeling better now.

I have a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Use it more often

then I ever would have thought. Also, I just recently re-discovered my

bread machine and am goo-goo in love over it! Can put in the

ingredients, set a timer and have fresh warm bread READY for you when

you wake up or get home from work....love that.
