Guest guest
This was my little cooking experiment last night. All the TVP loaf recipes i could find had egg or cheese. My goal was to make a delicious vegan version. i thought it was a success, and enjoyed this loaf with smashed potatoes, corn, and steamed broccoli. Hearty comfort food. i used the bit of mashed potatoes as a binder in place of the egg i see in so many non-vegan recipes. While i was doing this i thought a bit of instant mashed potato flakes would be a quick & easy substitution for that step. i hope you will try this, play around with it, and let me know what you think.
