Did they shed a good light on vegetarianism or pander to the cliches that we are all way beyond oddball? ~ pt ~ A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book. ~ Irish proverb ~~~*~~~*~~~> , Diamond Dog < diamonddog@g...> wrote: > > They did a visit to the Tofurkey factory! Guest guest
They were pretty decent. They just talked about how a lot of people are vegans (yes they used the word vegan...yay!) and vegetarians and how they don't like feeling awkward at thanksgiving. Basically they presented it as a way to make everyone feel included and happy and everyone can have a yummy meal and families don't have to feel split up by the holiday. Guest guest
Awesome! How enlightened... glad they took that spin. i hope this sort of thinking becomes so mainstream that it will eventually trickle down into all our families. Just from reading all the Thanksgiving gathering posts this last month has helped me see we are not alone in our struggles to deal with family gathering issues in regards to being vegetarians. i won't even go into politics and family relation struggles. *lol* ~ pt ~ It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong. ~ Voltair, philospher (384-322 BCE) ~~~*~~~*~~~> , Diamond Dog < diamonddog@g...> wrote: > > They were pretty decent.
