Guest guest
It has been great having you here, Ezevia. It sure would be nice and just basically polite for your family to care enough to alter a few dishes for your family. i guess they don't realize that we do not compromise taste and there are many vegetarian ways to make their traditional foods taste just as good; probably even better and fresher. i don't know why your inlaws can't come over to your house one year. Heck, most everyone has Friday off, too... so they could cook a dead bird that day if they had to have one. But for one day i'd think they could go without meat. Guess they don't have an open mind to it? *shrugs* Is it just Thanksgiving they won't come to visit or other holidays and events as well? Have they ever tried your dishes? i have to take almost my whole meal to our Thanksgiving gathering, too. i take sweet onion corn bake, stuffing, gravy, a dessert, and green bean casserole. This year i plan to also take some quorn brand roast slices. i just always make enough of everything in hopes people will dip in and try it for themselves so they can taste how good it is the vegetarian way. ~ pt ~ Trust yourself.Ê Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life.Ê Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement. ~ Foster C.
