Tlacoyitos? - gary

hi gary,

what are tlacoyitos? is it some kind of mexican

appetizer? do you know how that might translate in

english? i'm curious because i have never heard of

tlacoyitos and i love mexican food. i'm on a mexican

cooking list and i could ask there if you'd like.

Hi,

 

Yes, a Mexican appetizer. Sorry but I don't have

a clue what the translation of it would be. I've

only seen it on a menu in one restaurant. Maybe

I'll ask at the restaurant what it means, next time

I'm there. Margaritas and tlacoyitos is something

I indulge in once every couple of weeks. I would

certainly be interested in any responses concerning

it you might get on the Mexican cooking list.

hi gary,

i put a call out for a recipe on the mexican list....i

hope someone responds. i searched the archives there

and only came up with one recipe in english. i'll

email it to you. it has peas in it.

 

angela's reply helped me to get an idea about what you

are looking for. they sound wonderful. if you do a

search for tlacoyos some recipes come up.
