Guest guest
How lovely! Thanks so much, i really enjoyed that. Would have been nice to hear you sing it. Now i want to know who besides me is doing some pre-cooking work today in preparation for tomorrow's feast? i am going to be a bit busy getting as much done today as i can so i won't have to cook too much tomorrow. i am just getting ready to make the cheesecake-topped brownies, green bean casserole, and vegetarian stuffing. i don't think i can really put together the sweet onion corn bake casserole, but i will pre-cut and measure out all the ingredients today so it will be quickly made tomorrow. ~ pt ~ The poet judges not as a judge judges but as the sun falling around a helpless thing. ~ Walt Whitman, poet (1819-92) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , Sherry Rose <sherry@c...> wrote: > > I wanted to pass this song along to all of you. Guest guest
Hush! I am hiding and you are bragging. And if anyone in my family gets a whiff that I haven't told them the truth you are in big trouble. I told them as part of National Security and to conserve much needed energy resources the Bush administration had forbidden anyone from doing pre-cooking. Now just hush! My cake is being baked for me! HA! And that Now and Zen Un-Turkey takes no time at all. So, go away, be a slave, I am now off for coffee and a bookstore. Eat your heart out. Holidays are to relax. And I am into obedience and shall relax. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. Guest guest
i am! i just had my son start a loaf of bread (for the dressing) in the bread machine. i'll make cornbread in a bit, as well as the pie...i'm doing a cherry breeze pie because none of us like pumpkin, sweet potato, or pecan pies. tonight, i'll probably cut up the onions and celery for the dressing and then peel and cut up potatoes for the mashed potatoes. tomorrow will be easy. happy thanksgiving everyone! be safe if you are traveling and enjoy your family and friends. susie --- ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: > Now i want to know who besides me is doing some > pre-cooking work today in preparation for tomorrow's > feast? > i am going to be a bit busy getting as much done > today > as i can so i won't have to cook too much tomorrow. > i am just getting ready to make the > cheesecake-topped > brownies, green bean casserole, and vegetarian > stuffing. > i don't think i can really put together the sweet > onion corn > bake casserole, but i will pre-cut and measure out > all the > ingredients today so it will be quickly made > tomorrow. > > ~ pt ~ FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click. http://farechase. Guest guest
ROFLMAO! Okay, you've convinced me, i am going to sit down right now and do some x-stitching infront of the fire. No hard work today for me. i have to tell ya though, that whole national security thingie has a major flaw. The Bush administration would never be able to cobble up a plan that makes that much common sense. Guest guest
Hi PT, I think I'm going to steal your idea and chop up the vegetables tonight (mainly the veg for the stuffing and the potatoes for the mashed taters). If I have enough time tonight, I'll be trying a Chex mix recipe for a crockpot, LOL. This should be interesting. I have the recipe and all of the ingredients for it except a couple of seasonings. I'm going to get those tonight and either make tonight or tomorrow morning. I haven't made a mix in awhile and I miss it. I eat these suckers up. I'm just curious if it will get the nice toasty result in the crock that it would in an oven. S. " Chex Mix in Crock Pot 1 cup mixed nuts 1 cup pretzels 1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chips, broken into 1-inch pieces 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal 3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal 6 tbls margarine or butter 2 tbls Worcestershire sauce 3/4 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 tsps seasoned salt 1/2 tsp onion powder Put all the cereal and snack ingredients into your crock pot, then drizzle the butter mixture over the top and toss until well-mixed. Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours. Uncover for the last 30-40 minutes. demi note: Instead of the 3 cereals I use just Crispix instead of the bagel chips I use Goldfish crackers instead of the seasonings, I use Tony Chachere's creole seasoning " On 11/23/05, ~ PT ~ wrote: > > Now i want to know who besides me is doing some > pre-cooking work today in preparation for tomorrow's > feast? > i am going to be a bit busy getting as much done today > as i can so i won't have to cook too much tomorrow. > i am just getting ready to make the cheesecake-topped > brownies, green bean casserole, and vegetarian stuffing. > i don't think i can really put together the sweet onion corn > bake casserole, but i will pre-cut and measure out all the > ingredients today so it will be quickly made tomorrow. > > ~ pt ~ > > The poet judges not as a judge judges but as the sun falling > around a helpless thing. > ~ Walt Whitman, poet (1819-92) > ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> >

I was able to locate the sheet music in a library last year, and the librarian agreed to send it to me. It has a very pretty tune. >Now i want to know who besides me is doing some >pre-cooking work today in preparation for tomorrow's >feast? Well, PT, true confession: we're dining out. Guest guest
Quite possible that my family will figure something is off, but I have a poker face and will deny it to the end. So, you cross stitch too or spoofing me? Evil people come to evil ends...didn't your mommy tell you that? I had my coffee and my books and magazines. Was reading Jane Goodall's new book. I couldn't help myself...bought it to the tune of $24.95 so I took the Now and Zen Un-Turkey back for a refund. Now tomorrow the family will be having canned soup. Maybe water and bread. Oh, by the way, I love the quotes you always add. I love the one below...stay in the moment and you will discover such delights. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it.
