Guest guest
Hi: We like the gravy and the tofurkey but not the stuffing so much. Although we like the quorn products we don't like the corn roast. Gayle
Guest guest
LOL! Damn, when I make a grandiose error I do it up very well and this seems to be my week. Didn't mean to try to give you a gender reassignment on-line Shawn. Hope you will forgive me. <smiling> I told the family you approved of their description of the word " squeaked. " They are still wrinkling up their faces when I mention Now and Zen Un-Turkey. I have given up the idea of trying to remake the stuff into something unrecognizable. The Un-Turkey is already unrecognizable. $17 worth of unrecognizable stuff. I did try to call Now and Zen to see about a rebate in trade for me not taking out a full page ad in the NYT with my review. Not open yet anyway. Seems they may be at home with the " stuffed " feeling too as many of us are. Wonder if they ate the squeakie stuff? Probably not or they definitely have no taste and that is how they came up with that stuff. Impossible to comprehend that someone might this un-turkey has taste or texture. linda - subprong On 11/24/05, linda <> wrote: > > You just had to ask didn't you?!!! But of course!! And after I told you not to, you bad girl you! I may be bad but I'm definitely a boy! Now the question is do you think a newspaper would hire me to be a > restaurant reviewer? And pay me? Nah? <grinning> Yes, I think they would. As for the sub par restaurateurs in your area who know that their menu is below standards....well, they may be running for the hills. Go get 'em tigress
Guest guest
Sorry that turned out so plain and squeaky. I take it this isn't the sort of thing that you can apply herbs or some sort of marinade as you can veggies? Not that you should have to given you spent nearly $20 bucks on it. I've heard from a few that with this " Zen " product and the " Tofurkey " that their gravys tend to be wonderful and the stuffing pretty good, however the analog itself seems to have a ranking of either " pretty " good on down to " bleh " and, well " squeaky " . lol Quort roast seems to get the best reviews that I've heard. Guest guest
What did you think of the little sample of jerky that came with the Tofurkey? Very salty, tastes a little like bac*n used to (maybe it still does).
