Guest guest
The Register Guard, Eugene, OR. It was the Lane County Youth Fair which ran July 21-23 or thereabouts. I don't recall which day it was in the paper. It was the 4-H-FFA organizations which they keep separate here from the fair for some reason. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. Guest guest
This is just an abstract of the article and I couldn't get the picture. They charge a fee to read the entire article. Author: Jim Feehan The Register-Guard Jul 24, 2005 Start Page: C.1 Text Word Count: 457 Abstract (Document Summary) As the aroma of barbecued pork ribs wafted around the livestock arena at the Lane Events Center, Katy Bichsel of Creswell used a marker to draw on its flanks. The 18-year-old wrote the word 'bacon' on Pig's ribs and 'ham' on its hindquarter. Her handiwork resembled a butcher's chart, appropriate because Pig was about to go up for auction for between $2.25 and $4.50 per pound, earning the owner - a friend of Bichsel - quite a bundle, but turning Pig into someone's dinner.
