Guest guest
Ha! I have you beat! I am just going to kick back and watch the rest of you fuss over a Christmas meal...we don't do Christmas. However, we enjoy seeing the decorations and music without also seeing the bills come in or beating each other up at the stores to get that last gift or beating someone up for cutting in line (saw that on TV). Kind of weird watching a perfectly sweet and wonderful holiday get lost over the years. If we decide to have a New Year's Eve dinner I may try that Tofurkey again after years of avoiding it. Are you going to share with us this loaf recipe? Is there a gravy to it too? linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. " Mohandas Gandhi linda's Growing Stitchery Projects: womyn47 - ~ PT ~ Well, we do have the xmas/yule dinner to contend with, so all hope is not lost. We can talk turkey substitutions for another month yet! *lol* The recipe did look a bit labor intensive.... but not overly so. If i remember right one had to press the tofu mixture in some cheesecloth overnight to get all excess moisture out and to give the tofu-turkey the proper texture. A lentil or TVP loaf recipe would be easier and likely just as tasty for the holiday feast. That is what i plan to do this year for Yule.
