Guest guest
Good advice! i will try that next time.... chop, wrap in foil double thick, and freeze those smelly guys. Now have you ever tried that trick people tell to keep from crying while cutting onions where you are supposed to put a slice a bread in your mouth? That one never worked for me. My eyes still watered, my nose started running, and my mouth was watering from the bread; i was more of a mess! *lol* ~ pt ~ I have never met a man so ignorant that I couldn't learn something from him. ~ Galileo Galilei ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " Amy " <sandpiperhiker> wrote: > PT - next time you pre-chop onions to cook with (not to leave raw)... > cover them up and put them in the freezer. I did try cutting them under water once though, and that was just dangerous... *sigh* However, I've noticed some lessening of the reaction if the onions are cold vs. room temp or warm...
