Robin Robertson's advice per onions; was:crockpots

Well, i have done it boths ways, Mark.

i have sauted the onions prior to adding to the

crockpot and i have also skipped the step when

i was in a hurry. i have to say i much prefer the

results of pre-saute to the no saute. Just a personal

palate issue... but i think the flavor of the onion is

less harsh and blends better in the dish when it is

pre-cooked before adding it to the recipe. :)
