Guest guest
i am sitting here munching on a bowl of ginger-snap granola with almond milk... it is so good. Got this granola in a bulk bin of my healthfood store yesterday. If you see it on your shopping trips you might want to try some. What did you have for breakfast this morning? Hope everyone has a great Friday! :::coffeemug salute::: ~ pt ~ When indeed shall we learn that we are all related one to the other, that we are all members of one body? ~ Helen Keller

Hope I can find some. I bought the tea you mentioned (I think it was you ?) and can't wait to try it! Tropic of Strawberry. yum. I had a hurried breakfast of cookies and coffee and I'm already feeling yucky. Blech. I'm really getting off the 'puter now...sorry for being so chatty today and filling everyone's inbox. Guest guest
You really had to ask? What do you think? Yes, that's right, cold pizza...actually I heated it up to go with my coffee. I swear I really did. linda - ~ PT ~ What did you have for breakfast this morning?

I love that stuff! :-) All for me too, cause ginger is one of the few things DH doesn't care for all that much. > What did you have for breakfast this morning? steel cut oats with vanilla Spirutein powder, sliced almonds, a dab of maple syrup, and soymilk. Guest guest
Pineapple! I have a friend that owns and runs a wonderful little restaurant here. She went to Hawaii a couple of years ago and learned a lot about pineapple...she came home...tried to get us to try a dish of fresh Pineapple sprinkled with a little salt. The friend who was with me and myself both grimaced. She finally brought us out a sample...omgoddess, it was so good with a twitch of salt on it. I couldn't believe it...taught me to try anything new especially when she suggested it. I know that my ex used to put sugar on tomatoes which sounded disgusting...I should have tried it. Maybe next summer. However, back to the pizza...I do not like hot pineapple so on my pizza it doesn't go. And cold pizza with hot coffee didn't sound terrific this morning when it was freezing inside the house. As for you, Amy, once again, you can run but cannot hide since I know where you are. <evil grin> linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. Guest guest
Hey, about the pineapple thing; we were in South Africa and we went to a farmer's market/flea market. It was much cleaner than the ones here in the states. I digress, they had these pineapples on a skewer which they would drizzle a mixture of cayenne pepper and some other spices (I believe ground up cinnamon, cardamom, allspice, and cloves....a very small quantity of each). Yummy. the pineapple was nicely chilled and the juices would mingle with the spices. Makes my mouth water right now. Ate about 2 pineapple's worth of fruit between the 3 of us. I love pineapple on pizza, and love it as a base to yogurt or ice cream -parag On 12/9/05, linda <lindai81 wrote: > > Pineapple! Guest guest
*lol* I will have to try the salt on the pineapple. I know DH & his mom both love salt & pepper on canteloupe (but I haven't been able to bring myself to try that yet!). As for sugar on tomatoes... what a way to ruin the tomatoes! :-) Might as well eat ketchup then... OTOH, growing up it was a big thing each summer to dip a slice of cucumber in sugar. OMG, Parag - I need to play with this idea!!! Yum! I have put pineapple on skewers and grilled it (yum) but will play with some of those spice combos too... > I love pineapple on pizza, and love it as a base to yogurt or ice > cream I pretty much seem to like it any which way these days. But I must admit to being a bit of a snob - I *love* the fresh stuff so much more than the canned...

Guest guest
I like pizza with Pineapple.. Guest guest
That sounds interesting with a white garlic sauce... Here in Connecticut white pizza is very popular it has not red sauce and it has ricotta cheese on it. I like broccoli on pizza better then spinach as I find the spinach is sometimes to clumpy for me. Guest guest
We had a pizza night before last that had Kale on it and it was delicious. It used some sort of a white garlic sauce rather than tomato sauce for the base. It had broccoli on it too which was awful and I love broccoli. I tried it on my homemade pizza once and once was enough...I didn't care for it. But cauliflower is a dream on pizza. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it.
