Guest guest
This is so good... i just can't say enough about how close it is to regular ranch dressing. You could serve this at any gathering of people and nobody would be able to tell it was vegan or miss the dairy. i feel the secret is to use a good vegan mayo though, and the best by far [iMHO] is Vegennaise. Black Creek Ranch Dressing 1 1/4 cup vegan mayo [my opinion is it must be Vegennaise by Follow Your Heart] 1/4 tsp. garlic powder [ i like to add up to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder] 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. sea salt 1/2 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper 2 tsp. finely chopped parsley 3/4 cup plain soy milk Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl. Yield: 2 cups From 'The Native Foods' cookbook by Tanya Petrovna ISBN 1-59030-076-9 ~ pt ~ And no one will listen to us until we listen to ourselves. Guest guest
> I have nayonnaise in the frig right now so will have to go get some > vegennaise...hopefully it is the brand you mentioned. I have only seen > the one brand though of vegennaise. Linda - the Vegannaise brand is in the refrigerated section, not on an aisle shelf with the Nayonnaise etc. ones. It's worth hunting for! > I have heard of the Native Foods...will look it up. Maybe Border's > will have it...I have an outstanding 30% off for a book this > weekend! I am going to call to see if they have it in. Good luck!
