Guest guest
So, nothing with tofu or beans? What about tvp? Is that something you'd be willing to work with, or do you just want rice and grain meatball recipes? Our files section has a sub-folder within the folder titled " Main Dishes 2 " that is full of tried and true unmeat loaf recipes. There is one called 'cereal meatloaf' that might be what you are looking for. There are so many great recipes in there to choose from... some might even inspire you to try formulating a recipe of your own. Most all unmeat loaf recipes can be formed into ball shapes and baked or fried. Also, in a folder titled " Sandwiches & Lunchbox Ideas " we have another sub-folder called " Veggie Burgers " . Two recipes that jump out at me as maybe fitting your criteria are the 'grain and veggie patties' and 'zucchini flax burgers'. They might be easily made into unmeatball shapes as well. Go browse through the files and see: ~ pt ~ This is the miracle that happens every time to those who really love; the more they give, the more they possess. - Rainer Maria Rilke ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " Heather O'Neil " <diamyst@s...> wrote: > > I am looking for *eatloaf and *eatball or burger recipes that do not contain tofu. Most of mine have beans or tofu. I would like to have 2 or 3 tried and true recipes made of grains or rice maybe. With no strange ingredients that are hard to find. I'm probably asking a lot. <grin> But I'm trying to feed meateaters over the Christmas season and I thought that the more familiar looking the food the better. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. > > There are lots online but I would like some that other people have actually cooked and eaten so I know they are good. > > Thanks a bunch > > Heather O
