Guest guest
This sounds good. i always thought eggnog had a sort of banana-ish flavor. Now is that almond butter the sort that comes in a jar by Maranatha? Or is it something you make yourself? Also, i was thinking just frozen over-ripe bananas blended with almond milk and some nutmeg would taste good. ~ pt ~ The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much, it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little. ~ Franklin D. They're great in baking, as replacements for sugar or honey to sweeten foods, and blended in a variety of drinks, such as this one: > > > > 8 to 10 frozen bananas > > 8 ounces of raw almond butter > > Cold drinking water > > Nutmeg – either already ground or freshly grated > > Optional: Vanilla > > > > Place frozen bananas, then raw almond butter in a gallon jar. Add just enough water to cover bananas. Blend thoroughly with a hand blender. Add enough water to make a gallon, and blend to mix throughout. Add nutmeg to flavor the gallon of nog, or add to each individual serving.
