Guest guest
Yes, either Lawry's, or McCormic [i have this brand currently], or even some no-name cheapo brands will work. i gravitate towards the season salts that are sans MSG. Now this recipe, which i found in a 'Savor The Flavor of Oregon' cookbook that was compiled by the Junior League of Eugene, listed " beau monde " seasoning. i don't know what the bleep that is, and i even searched online and got no help... so i substituted season salt. When all else fails, go with what ya know; that's what Grams always told me. Anyone have a bottle of beau monde seasoning on their spice shelf? i'd love to know more about this stuff if you'd be so kind as to read me that label. What is season salt in your terminology....Lawry's? I got the Italian seasoning today. You are costing me a pretty penny with all of your little additions to my shelves.
