I have Personal Plus for about $50. I used it to design a weight loss program for myself last year. I use it now mostly for recipes and vegan meal plans. I always plug in recipes that I try and plan to keep around. www.nutribase.com Marilyn _______________ FREE pop-up blocking with the new MSN Toolbar – get it now! http://toolbar.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200415ave/direct/01/

In order to have accurate information, you need to know the quality of the database. I don't know anything about any of the others. Nutribase allows you to enter your own items into the software, too. For anyone who's interested, here's alink to the USDA database. http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/Data/SR17/dnload/sr17dnld.html I have other nutrition links, too. If anyone's interested in my posting them, let me know. Marilyn
Guest guest
Thanks to all of you, Sara, Erin, and Marilyn, for offering suggestions to help me get easy nutritional data for the recipes I use. Apparently there is no free software out there (I looked, anyway, and couldn't find any). The software you suggested were: Mastercook, which sells for around $19 at Amazon Dietpower which sells for $49.95 but has a 15 day free trial Nutribase which starts for around $34 (I couldn't find any for less) Since I only want the nutritional calculator, no recipes, etc., I'll probably go with Mastercook since it's cheapest. But I'm always willing to listen to a good argument<g> Thanks again all, Sherry in Oregon At 01:36 PM 12/17/2005, you wrote: >Have any of you run across a recipe nutrition calculator, either on the web >or as purchasable software? > >I'm looking for one where a person can enter an entire recipe at once, as >well as the number of servings it makes, and the calculator will return >calories, fiber, etc. for the recipe per serving.
