Here it is. This comes out of my Good Housekeeping

Illustrated Cookbook. Just add more " milk " to the recipe

gradually as you need it.

Butter-Cream Frosting

1 [16-ounce] package confectioners' sugar

6 Tbs. butter or margarine, softened

3 to 4 Tbs. milk ~ soy or almond work great!

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract ~ i like to us 1 Tbs. vanilla

and 1/2 Tbs. almond extract

1/8 tsp. salt

In a large bowl. beat together all ingredients until very

smooth. Add more milk as needed to get the consistency

you desire.

Linda, if you have vegan granulated sugar and a bit of cornstarch,

about 1 tsp per cup of sugar, and put them in a blender or coffee

grinder until they're fine like powder. That's pretty much the same

thing as powdered sugar in a bag or box.

Wow! Okay, thanks, I shall try that. Wonder if it tastes good sprinkled on

pancakes, waffles and such?

I don't see why not. It's literally the same thing, but they grind it

in larger amounts! (If you look at a package you'll see something like

" 3% cornstarch " on the label.)
