hey pt--

no, the article isn't online; you'd have to check out the magazine. they

sell it at whole foods, and probably most other health food stores... it's a

really good magazine, though!

Congrats, Melody! I didn't realize we had a CPT, CSCS in the house.

I am a regular r to VegNews. It's a great magazine. The

only one I know that caters to vegans. For those who don't know, it

is more focused on the human-interest side of veganism. It

spotlights vegan celebs, events, travel, product reviews (lots),

etc., with SOME recipes (certainly not as many as my favorite

vegetarian magazine subscription, Veggie Life). The text colors can

be annoyingly difficult to read (especially on the treadmill) as they

are often pastels. And, entire issues are often devoted to one

subject, which can be good or bad depending on your interest. For

example, this issue Jan/Feb, is one of the best in my mind, featuring

as it does Health And Fitness. However, the one on vegan weddings...

not my thing! And after waiting two months to receive the next

issue, it's a drag to get one with a topic about which you care

little (almost a wasted issue). But, overall, I recommend it. It's

not too expensive a subscription and, like I said, it is devoted to

the vegan lifestyle, as opposed to lacto-ovo vegetarianism.
