Guest guest
Well, we are going to get all sorts of munchies, a movie, curl up under some newly knitted blankets with all of the animals and just watch the boob tube. We don't usually go out on New Year's Eve anymore....doesn't seem like a lot of fun nowadays. Last night we were maybe an inch from having a terrible accident and so are even more reluctant to go out tonight even for an early dinner. So close that I hollered that we were going to hit so that everyone could brace themselves and it seemed a given and still does...how we escaped is beyond me and it would have been a bad one. But, the angels were once again looking out for everyone and we missed it. My daughter was driving and she wasn't even sure we hadn't hit...no exaggeration to say it must have been an inch, a split second to impact, when the other guy swerved. We had no where to go except into a wall on an overpass. So, tonight we will stay safe and sound. I hope all of you will stay safe and sound too. And have a wonderful evening and a great day tomorrow. Peace, linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. Guest guest
Oh my! That sounds close... glad you were kept safe! Close calls like that really make you step back and appreciate all the little things in life, eh? i'm going out! *lol* Brave, huh? Send some positive vibes and prayers my way that i return home safe & sound. My dh wanted to go out to dinner with another couple. My daughter is going to a teen-punker club thing until 1 am, so i have to go back out to fetch her home then. My son and his pal are staying home and playing video games and eating pizza. When i get home from dinner out i will make some snacks for them and we will have sparkling cider to toast in the New Year... watch movies, etc. Gotta tune into NYC's goings on, too! Happy New Year and Blessed Hogmanay! ~ pt ~ In the time we have it is surely our duty to do all the good we can to all the people we can in all the ways we can. ~ William Barclay ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " linda " <lindai81@c...> wrote: > > Well, we are going to get all sorts of munchies, a movie, curl up under some newly knitted blankets with all of the animals and just watch the boob tube.
