QOTW: resolutions?

> *Did you make any New Year's Resolutions?

 

~ Not anything written down, but just in my head.

1. To speak less and listen more. i plan to do this by

counting silently to 5 before responding to anything

said or asked of me. i'll either end up looking like a

slow idiot or the wisest person they know! *lol*

 

2. To cook more and eat less. i plan to do this by plotting

out my weekly menu plans and keeping my pantry stocked;

i used to be so good at this, but over the years i slacked off.

i also want to watch my portion size and eat in a more thoughtful,

slow manner.

 

3. This is the Year of the Squirrel, and also in numerology

the year adds up to 8. Both of these symbols seem to be

directed towards personal finance and care of the household.

i am going to stick to my budget, live better on less, and give

more of myself and my possesions to those i see in need.

 

That's all i can think of right now... i am sure i will add more

as i read what you all post; i get so many good ideas from this

group.

~ Peace within, and world peace. i hope this year that fear will

not roar so loudly in my heart and in the world that it will keep

us from hearing/feeling peace as a reality we can achieve.

~ i made a simple vegetarian lasagna. i had enough to make a

double batch so i am going to freeze the other one. Yesterday

was a nice day... a perfect begining to the new year, and i hope

it was for all of you as well. namaste
