Guest guest
That is very cool! 'Northern Exposure' was also my all-time favorite series. i remember watching it back in NY as we were planning to move out to Oregon. My favorite coffee mug has a moose etched into it, and i bought it because of that show and how cool moose are... i just thought it was so Pacific Northwest, and i could not wait to start a new life here. i foolishly thought we'd see moose, too. *lol* But alas we live too far south to see moose. i met some people once at a wedding that live in the area of Washington state where they filmed that tv series. i never saw the episode with the mushrooms, though. i am going to have to rent the series DVDs from my local video store and re-watch them. ~ pt ~ Clean your finger before you point at my spots. ~ Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) ~~~~*~~~*~~~~> , " linda " <lindai81@c...> wrote: Oh, last night I heard something on TV...the largest living system on the earth is a grove of aspen trees...they are all connected under the ground. I saw something like that on the TV series " Northern Exposure " (my all time favorite series) where Joel showed Maggie a mushroom field (in Alaska) where the fungi went on and on and on for miles, as far as you could see, and every single one was connected under the ground. Amazing. But so are we
