Guest guest
I can't remember what was in regular candles that made them not vegan, just know that they aren't and of course it is obvious why beeswax candles wouldn't be vegan. If I get a chance I will see if I can locate the info on what is in standard candles that makes them non-vegan. If it is the stearic acid then of course for the most part it would be from an animal. It is a saturated fat. But you can also get it from plants. But that may not be the only problem with regular candles. There might be something wrong with the wicks too in how they are treated to make them wicks. LOL linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. There is a vegetable stearate, but if it's not labeled it's probably animal-sourced. My Tangier candle was a " pocket candle " and came in a tin with a lid. They also had the glass-full type candle. Guest guest
This apple soy candle is in glass and the wick does not smoke. So I am hoping it IS a vegan candle. It cost about a dollar per ounce, so hopefully the price indicates its purity. But regrettably, there is no ingredient list anywhere.
