Taco Seasoning Mix ~Asian seasoning

Mmmm, yes, an Asian seasoning would be nice.

i saw that recipe at your group that Marsha posted

for the Old Bay Seasoning and i thought that sounded

great! Sure, please do post a copy over here; i am

certain others would appreciate it and then we can

add it into our files, too. Thanks Donna. :)

 

Now, on a side-note, last night i made the taco filling

out of TVP [bob's Red Mill brand], reconstituted with

veggie broth and the taco seasoning. My family informed

me thay prefer when i use Yves brand veggie crumbles

[or Boca, or MSF] to the dry TVP. Ugh! And here i was

thinking how much better i prefered the tvp-type taco

filling because it is less meat-tasting and doesn't resemble

ground beef in texture as much as those store brands

of ready-made meat analogs. *lol* Guess my tastes are

evolving away from it, but since they still eat meat, their

palate is more comfortable with the familiar flavors/textures.
