refrigerating nutritional yeast

Excellent info., thank you for sharing. I placed several bulk items

into my refrigerator awhile back and was never quite sure if that was

ok. Two of my main concerns (and the two items I have the most of in

the fridge out of all of the bulk) are nutritional yeast flakes and

tvp.

I keep my container of dry vegan cheese ingredients that I mix

together ahead of time (nyf, corn starch, flour, dried chiles...) in

the fridge and have never noticed any change in flavor but it is good

to know that it is indeed ok to do so (granted if the bulk can be

stored the same as the Red Star brand).

Thanks,

Shawn

Shawn, I've never kept tvp in the fridge (well, not dry,

un-reconstituted tvp), just in an airtight container in the closet (my

pantry).
