Chipotles ~ linda

i think they are sort of spicy-hot, so i go easy on how

much i add to my soup bowl. Chipotles have a more

smokey flavor that lend a nice complexity to the usual

chile spicy flavor... i had never tried them or heard of

them before moving out west, but i believe they are

gaining popularity all over the US these days.

 

i can often find cans in the Mexican food isles near where

they stack the cans of chopped green chilies and jalapenos.

i have seen them in all the regular grocery stores out here:

Fred Meyer, Albertsons, Safeway, Market of Choice, etc...

as well as finding them on sale at Grocery Outlet from time

to time.
