Guest guest
Here's what I do. I cut a garlic clove in half and rub it all over the Boboli crust, cover the crust with sauteed onions and sprinkle parmesan cheese and a few herbs over the top. I like it without the sauce of all those other toppings sometimes. It's good leftover and cold too. Guest guest
I see that Boboli has produced a whole wheat crust. I suppose I will have to drive 100 miles to get it. Nobody seems to use whole wheat in the mountains. BK-----VEGGIE VIXEN ---- Donnalilacflower 08/04/06 16:09:03 Re: Judy onions and pizza Here's what I do. Guest guest
Sue, Lots of whole wheat users here in my Rocky Mountains. Ask your local market to order what you want. When I lived in a small mountain community the little market ordered special tofu, etc. for us. Now they stock almost the same things as the big markets in the city. The small corner bakery also bakes fresh whole wheat bread and rolls. Betcha there are some pizza crust recipes in the files that you might like to try. Guest guest
Thanks, Deanna. I guess I will have to do that. I do shop at three different stores, so maybe I just need to go in and beg. <g> I have tried making all kinds of recipes. I don't eat white flour, so that means I use whole wheat flour only. It turns out like a hockey puck. And at my age, I can't chew hockey pucks easily. Thanks for your advice. sue ---- genny_y2k 08/04/06 21:38:35 Re: Judy onions and pizza Sue, Lots of whole wheat users here in my Rocky Mountains. Ask your local market to order what you want. Guest guest
That is my problem, too. A whole bunch of breads are marked 100% whole wheat, but looking at the ingredients, only one brand ground the whole wheat!!
