A great Spring/early Summer 'tonic'. As children we always ate Rhubarb

raw. New stalks are tender and do not need to be peeled. I usuall peel

older larger stalks. A friend just brought some Rhubarb sauce to a

picnic yesterday. He sweetened his with honey instead of sugar and it

was very good. Rhubarb leave are poison.

My sister-in-law makes a delicious Rhubarb custard pie and I have the

recipe somewhere if anyone would like it.

Sending smiles and hugs

Deanna
