LOL I have no idea why I addressed this with Chanda

at the top.....

Try these with cardamom and almonds on top. I've

never tried them with white chocolate but I think that

would be good with a handful of macadamia nuts.

No, she never put white chocolate in her recipe;

I don't really remember ever having any white

chocolate chips as a child... they would have been

a specialty item back in the 60s, I think.

Back then all I remember seeing in stores were

semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.

No milk chocolate chips, white chip, fancy colored shapes,

big chunk chips, peanut butter chips etc.

Though I bet white chocolate chips would be

great stirred into the Blondie recipe!

I am 41, and I still remember my Aunt Marie, not because I knew her well, but

because she bought me a white chocolate Easter bunny, I was about 4 or 5 at the

time, so this was like 1969-1970. Funny I can remember that but can't remember

what I had for dinner two days ago.

I loved those white chocolate bunnies, too! *lol*

Now don't get me wrong, I know they had white

chocolate back then; I'm 42. I just don't remember

the white chocolate chips in bags like the chocolate

Toll House ones. We have so many cool different

kinds of baking chips now that I don't remember

ever having when I was a kid. :)
