Guest guest
This is my favorite sugar in oatmeal, tea and I use it for baking. If you go to Starbucks they have it in little brown packets called Sugar in the Raw next to the regular granulated packets. Guest guest
This sugar is a must have in my kitchen cabinet. I sprinkle it across the tops of muffins before I bake then, really gives that crispy much loved muffin top taste. Guest guest
It's all we use at our house now, except for the rare time we need confectioners sugar. It is unbleached sugar. I even use it to make the sugar water for the hummingbirds. They love it. We enjoy the flavor of it very much. Guest guest
I always thought sugar in the raw was less processed sugar and that was it. I didn't realize it was bigger. Kind of like sea salt is to salt. Cool. Thanks for explaining. Debbie
Guest guest
It's a lot bigger. When dissolved in tea or hot cereal it adds a lovely flavor. If you roll drop cookies it it, you will get a good crunchy topping. Now if you are going to roll cookie dough, make sure to remove the cookies immediately, the sugar will tend to cause the baked cookies to stick to the cookie sheet. You won't be disapointed in the turbinado sugar, it is a must have for me, goes along with my celtic sea salt, cardamom and smoked paprika. I also have some measuring spoon fetish......I think I have 12 sets of those ....LOL Donna debjreed <debjreed wrote: I always thought sugar in the raw was less processed sugar and that was it.
