Guest guest
How about lightly sauteed with 2 or 3 of your favorite vegetables and some soy sauce or your favorite bbq sauce or marinade? You could serve it on top some leafy greens or rice in a bowl. Or cut some of the tofu into small cubes and add it to your favorite soup. Guest guest
Diane, Thank you so much for your reply. Do you mean to just take the block of tofu and put the whole thing in a pan and sauteed it with some vegetables? I wont need to discuses it somehow? , " strayfeather1 " <otherbox2001 wrote: > > How about lightly sauteed with 2 or 3 of your favorite vegetables and > some soy sauce or your favorite bbq sauce or marinade? Guest guest
Oh no, sorry, you probably don't want to eat the whole block at once. Just cut off a chunk (a quarter or so - how hungry are you? ) and dice that and add to your veggies Then you want to store the rest of the block in water in your fridge and use it up over the next few days, or you can freeze part for later. Freezing will change the texture and make it chewier. Peace, Diane , " zenbaby3 " <zenbaby3 wrote: > > Diane, Thank you so much for your reply. Guest guest
This is pretty easy. Freeze it then defrost it. wrap it in some paper toweling and then place a cutting board or cookie sheet on top of it and then something heavy. I usually use my daughters text books, this pressed the water out of it. Then you can either use some soy sauce a little bit of oil and some garlic and ginger or you can use an Italian salad dressing to marinate the tofu in, then bake it or you can saute it in a frying pan. gayle

Guest guest
Glad to hear it Zen. Those spices do sound good. What are you going to try next with your tofu? Guest guest
Glad you liked it. When I replied to you, I assumed that Zen referred to Zen Buddhism. Maybe I was wrong. Is Zen short for a name like Zenobia? Jerry
