Trader Joe store - just ask

Now I am really excited. Right now there are no Georgia locations for

Trader Joes, but I see that there is one coming to Roswell, Ga. It is still

two hours away, but it is 4 lane all the way, unlike the trip to chatanooga

where the trip is taken on twisty two lane highway.

Re: Trader Joe store - just ask

Wow! I am feeling really blessed!

We always had Trader Joe's. Initially, we lived in Southern California and

shopped in the very first Trader Joe's. Then, we moved, begrudgingly, to

Chicago and I was a wreck about not having Trader Joe's and sure enough,

they built one there!

Having to relocate to Northern California, I informed my husband, " we are

not moving anywhere that is not within a half hour of a Trader Joe's " and

low and behold, they built them in the Bay area.

I suggest that if you really want one, write to them.

My sister said that she and all her friends wrote to TJ's about getting into

Minneapolis and sure enough, they now have a Trader Joe's.

If you wait long enough, they'll build one!

BTW, here in Caliofrnia, they have made a point of never selling genetically

modified or hormonally supplemented foods. They have a large selection of

organics and are now, admittedly after pressure, not selling caged hen eggs.

Perfect! You will love it. Take an ice chest and

fill it up so your cold things stay fresh on the drive

back home.

When will it open???

Can we stop the Whole Foods bashing? Some people

actually work there and believe in their core

values...

I did not mean to bash..I'm just expressing my disappointment in their pricing

and that for my family we can't afford to shop there more often. I have two

growing boys into sports and scouts and a teen daughter into the same. My

husband works two jobs that require endurance and strength and being a pet

sitter I also need the same. (due to contrary belief we do not always sit on the

couch with Fifi and watch TV. Ever walk a 180lbs St. Bernard?) We eat a lot of

food!

My grocery bill averages between $150 and $170 a week. That does include things

like laundry detergent and cleaners etc.

I just wish that eating healthier and even veggie were more affordable at the

health food stores. It's hard to eat better when prices are so high.
