Guest guest
Anyone know what a Turtle jump is? LOL... that's when you and your kids drive off the side of the road abruptly, jump out of the car and save a turtle from the impending traffic. Keeping safety in mind first of course.....= ) And placing it in the direction it was traveling in a more secure area....... Last time was in FL we saw a turtle crossing the onramp to the highway. There had been lots of contruction and there was nothing there - just dry dirt, and it was about 100*. We ended up putting him (her?) in the car and driving to an area with a retention pond (we called a friend and described him, and she said he'd be a water dude)... we put him next to the water and boy, you never saw anything take off so fast! As slow as they are on land, was as fast as he was in the water. I don't remember the kind of turtle, but he had little nose that looked like a pig nose (the turtle, however, was about a foot across). Guest guest
all the time!!!! My husband was a zookeeper years back and he would take the damaged ones to the vet at his zoo, even if we were 2 hours away! Meg Whittington5 wrote: > Anyone know what a Turtle jump is?
