long Weekend

Not much, but going to keep busy, cleaning and rearranging house on

Saturday, then for meals

Saturday: Green Chili and Corn Chowder

Sunday: Layerd Green Bean and Tomato Salad, and Mollasses and Rum

Baked Beans

Have no clue yet for Monday, I keep forgetting it is Labor Day, but I

have the weekend off, but not Monday night, so will prlly just let

hubby do is bbq thing, and will do a couple of veggie sides.

Hi all - Jim and I are going to visit Meg at college this weekend. She

is fish sitting for one of her dorm mates. There's a great state park

just a few mins away so we'll be camping down there. It's so hard

adjusting to my empty nest.... Plus the home computer has a

misbehaving modem so I've been offline there.

We had planned to go to Hershey Park but both my daughter and I caught

colds and we are sick at home. Drinking lots of OJ and fluids. When

we feel up to it we will probably play some games and watch videos.

Hopefully by Monday we will feel better and can go out to a movie or

something. Would you believe our school system gives employees an

extra day of sick leave if they took none the previous year. Sounds

like they are rewarding you for coming to work sick. Do they not

understand infectious disease?
