Guest guest
Please look in the appetizer folder in the recipe file. There are so many delicious recipes in there. I'll bet you find more recipes than you can possible take to school during this new season. Donna How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
I never thought about the bite size thing that is so smart. I will keep that in mind. A cook over is also just brilliant! I will let you know what we cook and how the kids reacted to it the finish products. I do have one thing on my side one of her teachers is a vegetarian and is also encouraging the kids to try new things. genny_y2k <genny_y2k wrote: Great idea introducing the other Junior High kids to Veggie food..This age group is very conscious of eating in front of each other. Their peers are very important to them..I have noticed that these young people like bite size finger food. Small pieces that doesn't make one look 'piggy' by having a mouthful. Of course they love anything they can dip but that can be unsanitary if the dipping veggie or cracker is not bite size. They also love bite size crackers with a bit of cream cheese with a piece of fruit or veggie on top. Granola bars cut into small pieces are also a good idea. Next you can have a 'cook over' for your daughter's friend's and let them prepare a Vegetarian meal. They will love it.
