I have had them made that way (I didn't make them, but tasted them at a

pot-luck); and I asked about how they were made, because they were softer,

stickier, than usual. She said she used marshmallow cream.

go for it! let us know how it turns out. :)

Being a newbie, there are plenty of questions I need to ask. Uh....what is

wrong with marshmallows?

and why is marshmallow cream better?

Most commercially available marshmallows have

gelatin in them.

Marshmallow cream usually does not have gelatin

in it.

That's my understanding, at least. Always good

to check the labels though.

That's the owner/moderator's call however

I think I have seen emails relating to

vegetarian life in amongst the recipes.

I suppose there might be a problem

with respect to animal rights since not

all vegetarians are vegetarians for the

same reason. I did become a vegetarian

because of my beliefs relative to animal

rights but some may have done so for

health reasons or ??

Marshmallows usually have gelatin in them. Gelatin is usually made by boiling

down the hooves of animals.
