i see Susie came to the rescue! So glad you didn't try

using that condensed milk in the recipe. Typically all

condensed milk is actually " sweetened-condensed "

so it is very sugary. Evaporated milk is just plain,

unsweetened but creamy tasting... always good to

add to any cream soup or sauce to give it a more

rich texture. :)

HI Meg:

 

I know I am once again very far behind in my reading however condensed and

evaporated are not the same. Condensed is sweet and evaporated is not.

We use condensed milk when we make fudge. I think it is best in baking. I

use a can of evaporated milk when I make mac and cheese.
