Guest guest
well, we ended up watching 2 neighbor kids that night and my husband came home reorganized (as in laid off, fired, terminated, downsized...) so it was realllllly nice to say to the older two " would you please spoon some dinner out for everyone, grab the salad and carrots from the fridge, please " and have it be done as neither of us were really in the mood to cook. I didnt expect there to be enough since it was only 8 oz of noodles, but it fed 6 kids (ages 10, 9, 8, 7, 2, 1) and two adults. The only thing I would do differently is make sure I have more cheddar on hand next time. Meg ~ PT ~ wrote: > That is wonderful. i believe that crock pot recipe was > shared by Lori. Guest guest
Meg, thanks so much for the review of that recipe. I've recently had great success with Lori's recipes so I'm going to give this one a go as well (gotta love the set it, forget it crockpot recipes). Thanks again. Shawn ALL DAY MACARONI AND CHEESE 8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and drained 4 cups(16 ounces) shredded sharp Chedder Cheese 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk 1 1/2 cups milk 2 eggs 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Place the cooked macaroni in crockpot that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Add the remaining ingredents, all except 1 cup of the cheese, mix well. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of cheese and then cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours or until the mixture is firm and golden around the edges. Do not remove the cover or stir until it has finished cooking. Lori > , Meg G < wrote: > > > > FANTASTIC! > > > > I didnt get condensed milk, so I just mixed powdered milk with half the > > water.
