Add water gradually, mixing until soft and pliable into a smooth dough. Knead well and place on floured board. Cover with damp cloth and leave for ½ hour. Divide dough into four pieces and shape into round balls. Roll ball of dough on floured board into a flat round shape, ½ inch thick. Place on tawa (baking stone), pulling outer edges. Guest guest Posted September 5, 2006 Report Share Posted September 5, 2006 The tawa which has the URL given in the UK and then in the US is not in stock or discontinued. I think you could just use a 11-1/2 in " frying pan. Seems to me it would accomplish the same thing. I am open for suggestions.
