Guest guest
The concept of tempeh always just seemed odd to me, but one day i finally tried it. i was at Gooseberries shopping and they have a deli case with many vegan salads and dishes even though they aren't a vegan establishment. i ordered a dish that had chunks of tempeh, some greens and onions. The tempeh was coated in a nice peppery-spicy sauce [not really a sauce, but reminded me more of a rub i suppose]. But the tempeh seemed crumbly and like some of the more whole pieces of soy beans in the tempeh cakes were almost crunchy. i didn't know if it was supposed to be like that or not. i thought it was good though... just different. ~ pt ~ " Everybody should pray together, cheer along, root along. Guest guest
It is more of a dry crumbly texture. I like to make the mock chicken salad with tempeh and Veganaise. Very good.
