LOL Come here I'll give you some little mice that are giving me a run for my money in trying to catch their bad little hiney's. They are eating me out of house and home and they were NOT INVITED GUESTS. jUDY >I hear ya with the LOOKS! As soon as I walk in the door both of mine demand a treat! I also have to rats(yes, I said rats, Jet and Fuel) You can not even think about eating at the computer with out giving them some, they stand there and stair! I love my pets! I remember, when my youngest was going thru a phase of wanting hamsters and guinea pigs, that we went to a pet store to look at them. Another customer family was looking at them beside us and they cautioned us about having them for pets. They said they used to have them, but when they got loose they chewed up all their electrical cords in their home and it was very dangerous and expensive to fix. It is hard to catch them and find them when they get loose, according to them. That settled it for me,,, NONE were coming to live in my house. Now here I am dealing with little mice anyways... I hear all the times about house first started from mice eating the electrical wiring and making shorts. Not something I would ever want to have happen.. They are so smart, both of mine are litter boxed trained, know their names and they come when they are called. Th two that I have now are my 4th and 5th ratties. I had 3 females and because of old age they are now playing over the bridge. I love my 3 angles, Lucy, Ethel, and Emily! I new that rats were smart and easy keepers most of the time. So I asked and they told me yes and that was 3 years ago. They are not for everyone because they are very social animals and they only live to be 2 years old some do live longer then others. I guess it was my way of keeping a little fuzzy love in my life. We now have a dog, Molly, who is such a whiner for attention that her nickname is " Weinie " . Speaking of rats, we also have a cat, Princess (short for Princess Leah), who is adored by my husband (though he doesn't want to admit it) and whose nickname is " Vermin " . She gets in trouble a lot. We have another cat named Amy (short for Amidala - don't ask). Then one day my mom was going down the basement steps and it was just sitting there. Mom said that it looked at her like " ok, I'm ready to go back now " . After that hamster was gone we never got anymore. When I was growing up I had dogs, cats(especially at my dad's in AL), a peacock, hamsters, hermit crabsm, a feret and fish.
