Guest guest
Happy to have you back with us. Main thing is you jumped back on the wagon, don't think to hard about why you fell off, just move along day by day. I don't have any advbice for you, what works for one doesn't for the next person. I became a veg overnight and I never looked back, I had to teach myself how to make grains and things I'd never heard of, that had to be close to 26 years ago. Few decent cookbooks and no veggie burgers around. We are all here to support you. Guest guest
Hi! I'd say cutting down on meat would be the first step (like once a week) and then maybe use some of the meat substitutes to stand in for what meat products you miss- sausage or whatever. Find some veggie basics that you love...veg lasagna, meatless chili, grain recipes, veg burgers etc. I have been veg for maybe a year and a half with no slips, but when ever I am out or at a friend's, it remains a challenge to not give in to some meat thing that I used to like eating, even if it's just soup with chicken broth. If I have that, I know I'll soon be eating bacon again and I just don't want to : ) good luck, baby steps are good! melissa p , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > Happy to have you back with us.
