Guest guest
Phulowrie is a dish that I had posted before you are just using that batter in this recipe and believe me I dont intentional leave out the " English " words but since this is what I know sometime I just take it for granted that other know what it is as well. So if you dont have a clue what I am speaking about just ask and I will try to clear it up. OK? Thanks for understanding. , scottishlady59 wrote: > > Hi could you please let us know what phulowrie batter is > > > Maybe everyone could put in the english word for the ingredients from other lands that would be a great help to all > > > > Janet > > > -------------- Original message -------------- > " angie00735 " <angie00735 > Melongene is eggplant and is also called Bhigan here in Trinidad and > somewhere else I suppose. > > Bhaiganee > > Bhaiganee (pie made with eggplant (melongene) > > Indian dish made in Trinidad during the Indian festival known as > Divali. > > 1 recipe phulowrie batter > 1 eggplant > Oil for frying > ¼ cup flour – salt and black pepper added > > To Make Bhaiganee: > Slice eggplant in ¼ inch slices.
