Guest guest
It is so sad isn't it......... We loved his shows. What a great animal enthusiast. We love to watch and learn from folks that love what they do, and he and his wife really did. We will sure miss him............... It is really hard to imagine him dead. I feel so sorry for his wife and kiddo's. It has hit us hard too. Guest guest
I always thought Irwin was not especially an animal enthusiast as he was a 'conservationist " meaning pro-hunting and 'management' I only caught some of his shows but thought he seemed extremely rough and inconsiderate of the species he was handling. Just my two cents. Cheryl --- wwjd <jtwigg wrote: > It is so sad isn't it......... We loved his shows. > What a great animal enthusiast. Guest guest
If you had seen more, I know you would of found a very compassionate Steve Irwin, for all wildlife and preservation of them, especially those that most people were afraid of. He was a passionate teacher of those things he loved. Those are the best teachers and he was one of the best. Guest guest
This topic was brought up on another list I'm on, and it turned into such an argument I was even afraid to post! I love Steve Irwin, I think he was absolutely nuts, but a good guy and he did much good. He died doing what he loved, though, and I'm sure he's always known that's how he'd go. Great person, it's very sad that he's gone. Kadee Sedtal Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min. Guest guest
Oh, I hope it doesn't turn into an argument here. I heard this news just as I was waking up this morning. I immediately thought of his wife and kids. She's American, you know. His show wasn't quite my cup of tea, but I think he had an engaging, nutty, childlike personality. I'm sure he would be concerned that folks not blame the ray that killed him as it's a wild animal doing what wild animals do and he knew the risk. Given his lifestyle, I'm not completely surprised he died young, but I really feel for his little kids. Guest guest
I just sit here in my livingroom looking at my wall with the autograph photo of Steve Irwin and still cannot believe he is gone. I know he at least opened our eyes with wild animals and wild life. Thank you Steve, Terri and the Irwin Family for sharing your knowledge and caring for animals. You will be loved and missed by alot of people and animals. Lorri
