Guest guest
Just today over on TFV group I mentioned my Grams' rhubarb custard pie. Grams never used recipes and always her strawberry-rhubarb and rhubarb custard came out perfect! I always thought she must be a natural-born-pie-goddess or something. If you have a recipe for rhubarb custard pie written down, I sure would love a copy. Thanks! ~ PT ~ I found one day in school a boy of medium size ill-treating a smaller boy. I expostulated, but he replied: " The bigs hit me, so I hit the babies; that's fair. " In these words he epitomized the history of the human race. ~ Bertrand Russell, " Education and the Social Order " ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " genny_y2k " <genny_y2k wrote: > > A great Spring/early Summer 'tonic'. Guest guest
Would love the rhubarb custard pie recipe! I love rhubarb. Incidentally, I think Deanna is a lovely name. It has been years since the last time I heard it - a movie star, Deanna Durbin, if I remember correctly. Diana
Guest guest
-Diana, I will locate this very old family recipe and post it.I have tucked it away because I seldom use eggs but it is the best I have ever eaten. Thank you for the 'name' compliment . I was named after the actress Deanna Durbin who was a favorite of my mother. By the way my name is a derivative of your name/ Greek goddess Diana who was the goddess of the moon and the hunt. In our city we have a huge bronze statue of Diana. We share a similar beautiful name. Smiles and hugs coming your way Deanna In , diana scott <dianascot_33 wrote: > > Would love the rhubarb custard pie recipe! I love > rhubarb.
