Guest guest
First reasons - natural inclination - dislike of meat as a child but was required to " eat your meat " so I was good at hiding it in my napkin for the dog. Later in life concern for my child's exposure to chemicals via my breastmilk and not wanting to eat animals in general. Currently - seeing pictures and a real life experience with factory chicken farming- and no longer wanting to " not think about " what is happening in our country as far as animal exploitation and cruelty. Yes, I'm less of a " dont hurt the animals " person now and more of a " meat makes my tummy feel icky " person. I'll tell ya, when I find myself pregnant (which tends to happen frequently, I'm blessed) i CRAVE cheeseburgers, but not this time. granted I'm only a few weeks in, but I've been craving horseradish mostly, along with cauliflower, and i've been eating both in mass quantities, usually together Meg
Guest guest
Hi Meg: Way back when, when I was pegnant with my son I was not a vegetarian but I was never much of a meat eater and I almost never ate beef, However during the first 3 months I was pregnant with him all I wanted for dinner everynight was a Hamburger. My husband would tease me about it becuase it was so odd for me to even want 1 let alone 1 everynight for dinner.
